Born and raised locally in Humboldt County, Mona completed her BS in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy at Cal Poly Humboldt, then moved to Los Angeles to complete her Masters in Physical  Therapy at California State University Northridge. After completing her Masters, she went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Shenandoah University. She currently works for Mad River Community Hospital as a Physical Therapist and joined Humboldt teaching staff in the Fall of 2015.
