Christopher Slay Ph.D.

Lecturer - Zoology

A lifelong California resident and product of the California Master Plan for Higher Education, Chris earned a B.S. in Biology with an Option in Physiology and B.A. in Environmental Geography from CSU Long Beach in 2008, thereafter earning a M.S. and Ph.D. in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at UC Irvine in 2015. He's been teaching primarily physiology courses at Humboldt since Spring 2016.

Comparative and evolutionary physiology of gas transport
